Thanks to the invaluable support of the 5DCulture project, co-funded by the European Union, the platform has undergone a significant transformation. The platform has introduced several new or improved services to enhance its 3D model viewing experience.

  • User Interface: A new user interface has been designed to improve navigation within 3D models. This intuitive interface allows users to seamlessly explore and interact with the model's various components.
  • Measurement and Lighting: The surface measurement function has been refined, providing more accurate and detailed measurements. Additionally, lighting functions have been improved to optimize the visual presentation of 3D models, enhancing their clarity and detail.
  • Annotations: The annotation feature has been upgraded with a new user interface and improved user experience. This enables users to easily add, edit, and manage annotations, providing valuable context and insights into the model.
  • Model Loading: The loading process for 3D models has been optimized, resulting in faster loading times and smoother user experiences.
  • Branding: The platform now offers the ability to brand the 3D viewer within a 3D model. This customization option allows to incorporate branding elements, further enhancing the overall user experience and reinforcing brand identity.
  • Metadata Preparation: Users now have greater control over the metadata associated with 3D models. 
  • Embedding: The non-restricted embed function provides more flexibility for users to integrate 3D models into various platforms and websites. This increased accessibility enables wider dissemination and utilization of digital assets.
  • Technical Data Visibility: To provide greater transparency and understanding of 3D models, more technical data is now permanently visible. This includes information about the model's creation process, file formats, and other relevant specifications.
